James Webb Space Telescope 2025 Astronomy Wall Calendar (12"x12") - Images from NASA's Newest Telescope

After 17 years of construction and testing at a cost of $10 billion, the James Webb Space Telescope was launched into space on Christmas day in 2021. With 18 hexagonal mirrors measuring a total of 21 feet across, it can view objects up to 100 times fainter than what Hubble can detect. It promises to provide fascinating new insight into the formation of the first galaxies, possible life on alien planets, and countless other astronomical mysteries.

This 12-month calendar contains many of the first images ever taken by the James Webb telescope. It provides the dates of major astronomical events, including moon phases, solar and lunar eclipses, meteor showers, and moon-planet conjunctions.

Many of the images taken by the James Webb telescope have not been officially released by NASA. However, NASA has released the data from the sensors, which anyone can process. We've dug deep to find images processed by the public, and have also processed images ourselves, to bring you the very best images captured by Webb. Many of these images will not be found in other publications.
