She has done undergraduation from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore, and Postgraduation from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli. She has excelled in academics and is a gold medalist in undergraduation. She has many international papers to her credit. She has worked as Assistant Professor, Dept of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore; Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Tamaka; and Vinayaka Mission Kirupananda Variyar Medical College, Salem, Tamilnadu, India. From 2015 onwards, she has been a private practitioner at Bengaluru. She is certified in fetal ultrasound by Fetal Imaging Academy of India. Her pursuit for broad based social service made her pursue civil service and she secured 147 rank in UPSC Civil Service Examination 2017, and is now a probationer in Indian Administrative Service.
