Dr. T. Arun Babu is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Research Institute (IGMC&RI), Puducherry. He completed his MBBS and MD Pediatrics from the prestigious JIPMER, Puducherry. He holds an MBA degree in Hospital Administration and a Diploma in Allergy and Asthma from CMC, Vellore. He did his fellowship in Neonatology from University of Calgary, Canada. He is an excellent teacher popular with his students and also takes PG entrance exam coaching classes. He has conducted numerous clinical studies and has published more than 120 research papers in various international and national journals. He has also edited 9 textbooks and contributed chapters in Pediatric textbooks. He serves as Pediatric Editor at 'Frontiers in Pediatrics', Austin Journal of Pediatrics, Webmedcentral journals and as peer reviewer in numerous Pediatric and Medical journals.
